What you hear
Rain on the window glass, with the low hum of the city, an occasional siren far away and car horns now and then. Raise the Storm slider for lightning, then listen for the thunder: the further the strike, the longer the wait and the deeper the rumble. Nothing here is a recording on repeat. Every drop is made live in your browser, so the sound never loops.

How to use it
- Press Begin listening. Headphones make the biggest difference.
- Move the Rain slider from a light drizzle to a downpour, and Storm for thunder.
- Drag across the glass to wipe the fog. Hold still to breathe on it, then write in it.
- Set Fade out to 15, 30 or 60 minutes if you want to fall asleep to it.
