The Storm setting turns everything up: a dark beach at dusk, heavy rain driving against the glass, lightning in the clouds and thunder that rolls in a few seconds later.
The delay is real: the further away the strike, the longer the wait and the deeper the rumble. Lower the Storm slider and the storm moves off into the distance.
For a storm at night, try the lighthouse, the tropical island, the Atlantic cliffs or the savanna.

Questions
- Can I have rain without thunder?
- Yes. Move the Storm slider to the left.
- Is the thunder too loud for sleep?
- At full strength it can be. For sleep, keep Storm low so the thunder stays distant.
- Is the lightning safe for people sensitive to flashes?
- If your device is set to reduce motion, flashes are softened. If flashing light affects you, keep Storm at zero.
